Arabian Nights Birthday Party

International guests flocked to a palace in Marrakech for this 1001 Arabian Nights themed 40th celebration. Guests arrived by a 100 torchbearer lined pool, surrounded by drummers, fire-eaters, snake charmers and camels to a custom built transparent dining tent in a palm filled garden filled with 1000 open fires.

Guests enjoyed an oriental mezze created by chef Mark Hix on flower-laden tables illuminated by thousands of candles, followed by a late night after party fuelled by cocktails from Mark Hix’s mixologists and music from DJ Yann Habasque from Le Baron in Paris.
