Poppy Delevingne’s fairytale wedding to James Cook was celebrated over 3 days in Marrakech. The welcome party was held in the gardens of guest hotel, La Mamounia, a bohemian ceremony and reception was held at Beldi Country Club and the festivities continued in a sunset to sunrise desert rave.
For the ceremony we installed sixteen olive trees and filled them with dozens of hanging candles for a midsummer night’s feeling. The reception tables were filled with an eclectic ‘wildflower’ mix of potted aromatics including rosemary, lavender and myrthe and local pottery vases of Atlas roses in mauve and white with an accent of blue hydrangea. More than 2000 candles lined the tables and hung in lanterns from every surface. The bridal head table was softly illuminated by a custom built chandelier of church candles above the Riad courtyard.
