The sunset wedding ceremony was symbolically held as a 'circle of love'  in the garden maze nestled between the kasbah and the stunning Atlas Mountains.  Each guest participated in the ceremony by blessing the couple's rings on a ribbon joining everyone together. Guests dined under the stars on a Moroccan feast served with flower and candle laden tables on the Kasbah's terrace. An open fire lit pathway to led to an after party with DJ Victorien Mulliez of FDVM. Guests enjoyed an Arabian night's rehearsal dinner with camels, snake charmers, bellydancers and musicians to get into the Moroccan spirit. Guests enjoyed a garden party mocktail reception with fun flower filled photo props including a vintage car, Moroccan juice stand, Ice Cream bicycle and Popcorn machine. The reception was held in the orange grove against the stunning backdrop of the city's pink walls, illuminated with French vintage chandeliers and Moroccan lanterns. Garlands of blush roses and orchids decorated the henna linen covered tables. Guests danced under the stars to a set from DJ Mehdi Achar. A rooftop drinks and canapés ice-breaker for guests travelling from the four corners of the globe was hosted on the rooftop of Riad El Fenn in the city's ancient medina on Friday. Day 2 guests joined a caravan of 120 camels trekking into the desert where they dismounted in an oasis camp for music, cocktails and a romantic tented dinner. Late night dancing ensued with DJ Imad, under the stars surrounded by open fires and twinkling lanterns and brasiero. The weekend of celebrations commenced with a private Riad rooftop supper with Moroccan musicians and a tablescape of tulips and candles. The wedding reception was hosted in the palace's gardens under twinkling chandeliers. The abundant tablescape of mixed blush local and David Austin roses and peonies was highlighted with hundreds of candles. A personalised candle with the name of each guest marked the place setting. Guests were entertained by 2 live bands during dinner and a DJ in the garden late lounge where they enjoyed an exquisite cake covered in sugar flowers to match the theme of the late summer wedding. The birthday girl being none other than London events doyenne Fleur Cooper of Lillingston Events. Fleur briefed us over breakfast at the Ivy Garden, Chelsea and we got straight to work planning the most dream like of tablescapes for the wow factor setting of the gardens at La Mamounia, Marrakech. The dining table was laden with pink and red bougainvillea to match the city walls with local roses.
