Guests enjoyed a garden party mocktail reception with fun flower filled photo props including a vintage car, Moroccan juice stand, Ice Cream bicycle and Popcorn machine. The reception was held in the orange grove against the stunning backdrop of the city's pink walls, illuminated with French vintage chandeliers and Moroccan lanterns. Garlands of blush roses and orchids decorated the henna linen covered tables. Guests danced under the stars to a set from DJ Mehdi Achar. A late afternoon ceremony in the shade of the hotel's majestic olive trees was followed by sunset cocktails for the guests and bride and groom portraiture with royal photographer Sandra Von Riekhoff of Divine Day Photography to capture these dreamy images. Guests were treated to a gastronomic supper served in the gardens with a towering cake by Pierre Herme before late night dancing with live music under the stars. DIOR Cruise Show 2020

[vc_row content_width="grid" animate_rounded_tab="yes" ommntess="”.vc_custom_1466520446027{padding-top:"][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text] DIOR Cruise Show 2020 [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height="25px"][vc_column_text] Boutique Souk was honoured to be selected by Dior to create events for their iconic Cruise Show in Marrakech in April 2019. Working closely with the marketing team, we created lunch and dinner events in special locations in Marrakech for their VIP guests invited to the show. Respecting the themes of artisanal work and  'common ground'  Boutique Souk worked with with local artisans and women's fair trade co-operatives in Fes to  create tablescapes incorporating hand embroidered traditional table cloths, napkins made of cactus silk and an array of hand made pottery plates and vases.  All floral decoration was local and seasonal including spring Mimosa and olive branch and herbs cut from nearby trees and fields. The couple celebrated their ceremony in an olive filled patio against a wow backdrop flower wall of blush roses, dahlias, chrysanthemum and garden roses. Guests enjoyed rooftop cocktails with views over the ancient medina before dinner in the ornate dining hall of the hotel. The tablescape of olive coloured taper candles and mixed bouquets of blush tones complemented the pistachio and rose marble decor of the room. A rustic rose farm provided the perfect contrast to the grandeur of the wedding venue for a relaxed rehearsal dinner with traditional Moroccan food, entertainment and decor. The couple arranged a 3 day highly experiential weekend for their guests. Day 1, guests crossed the city's famous Djeema El Fna for rooftop sundowners and a romantic candlelit cous cous supper in a typical Riad. Day 2 the adventure continued with a sunset dinner in the desert in a bespoke tented camp decorated with hundreds of Moroccan rugs, typical berber tents and tables laden with candles, roses and cacti. With both of the couple working together as architects, aesthetics were a priority as were excellent  French cuisine and wines. A highlight was their wedding cake created by world number one patisserie chef Pierre Hermé. They chose a refined ivory based look for floral and incorporated vegetals and lemons to reflect the setting for the ceremony and long table dinner in the olive grove of the hotel. The couple also treated their guests to a traditional Moroccan rehearsal dinner in an ancient Riad in the medina.
